Our Mission

At GHE we are dedicated to increasing the efficiency and impact of global health programs and interventions through rigorous evaluation, strategic insights, and effective implementation, in order to improve the lives and health outcomes of communities across the globe, especially in the world's most challenging environments.

GHE was founded following the evaluation of the global withdrawal of OPV2 (the "switch"), one of the largest global public health interventions in history, impacting more than 155 countries. The evaluation ensured more stringent criteria for future withdrawal efforts.

Following the publication of the switch evaluation report, the evaluators (Drs Natalia Molodecky and Roland Sutter) recognised the need for high impact evaluations that lead to meaningful change of global health programs and interventions. To fill this gap, they created GHE.
